Laser microprocessing of thin-film solar modules

In thin-film technology InnoLas Systems is concentrating its development and production capacities on laser scribing and laser and surface structuring, where the technologies used include in particular:

  1. Laser marking
  2. Laser edge deletion
  3. Laser scribing
    • Laser scribing of back electrodes – molybdenum (Mo)
    • Mechanical scribing of the absorber
    • Mechanical scribing of the front electrode (TCO). In the near future, these processing steps will be handled by a new generation of industrial strength ultrashort-pulse lasers.

The InnoLas IMPALA system is designed as a work station for precise processing over a large area with state-of-the-art technology for CIS respectively CIGS and other thin-film modules like cadmium telluride (CdTe,) amorphous silicon (a-Si:H), or micromorph silicon
